Features
The Texecom AKC-0006 is a Capture Q20 wired Quad PIR motion detector designed for professional intruder alarm systems. The detector provides volumetric motion detection with a coverage range of up to 20 metres and a 90° detection angle, making it suitable for monitoring rooms, hallways and protected areas within security systems.
The detector uses quad element pyro technology, effectively combining multiple sensing elements to improve detection accuracy while reducing the risk of false alarms caused by environmental disturbances.
The device also includes digital temperature compensation, which automatically adjusts sensitivity based on ambient temperature changes to maintain reliable detection performance in varying conditions.
An optional PetWise mode helps minimise false alarms from small animals, making the detector suitable for residential environments where pets may be present.
The Texecom Capture series detectors comply with EN50131-2-2 Grade 2 standards, meeting requirements for professional intruder alarm installations in residential and light commercial applications.
The AKC-0006 model is supplied in a black housing and is designed for wall mounting at typical installation heights between approximately 1.5 m and 3 m within indoor protected areas.
