Requirement: bought the product from CCTV Gear. Two routes in: a private review link, emailed after purchase, or the dispatched order in your account. Each review therefore rests on a verified purchase.
Who is asked, and when, never depends on expected satisfaction. One request wording for every buyer, identical each time.
2Publication: all ratings
One star or five, critical or not: no review is hidden, delayed or edited on that basis.
Hand-check triggers: abusive language; any link; contact details (email address, phone number) in the text; text too short to help. Held reviews: decision targeted within 7 days. Removal or refusal only for spam, abuse, personal data or off-product content, never for a negative opinion.
3Reward for a review
Reward for a review: none, whether discount, account credit or a prize-draw place.
Off-site reviews (Google, Trustpilot or any other service): never rewarded.
4Replies
Public replies under a review: possible. Never with an offer to change or remove it.
5Review vs complaint
Review = opinion for other buyers. Complaint = a fault or problem you want fixed. Do either, or both: filing a complaint never stops a review, and a review does not stand in for a returns or complaints request.
