Features
The 8MP 4K CCTV passive video balun is designed to transmit high-definition surveillance video signals over twisted pair network cable. The adapter enables CCTV installers to replace traditional coaxial cable runs with Cat5e or Cat6 UTP cable while maintaining reliable signal transmission between cameras and recording equipment.
The balun supports multiple HD-over-coax video formats including HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and standard analog video. With support for resolutions up to 8MP (4K), the device is suitable for modern high-definition surveillance systems used in residential, commercial and industrial security installations.
Each unit features a BNC male connector designed to connect directly to CCTV cameras or DVR inputs. The RJ45 port allows video signals to be transmitted over standard twisted pair cable used in structured cabling infrastructure. The BNC connectors include gold plated contacts which help improve signal stability and reduce connection loss.
The passive design means the balun does not require external power. Units are typically installed in pairs to transmit video signals over longer cable distances using Cat5e or Cat6 UTP cabling.
These adapters are widely used in CCTV installations where network cable infrastructure is available or preferred for flexible surveillance system deployment.
