Features
The passive HD-CVI, HD-TVI, and AHD video balun with screw terminal is designed for transmitting CCTV video signals over twisted pair network cable such as Cat5e or Cat6. It allows installers to use structured cabling instead of coaxial cable, providing a cost-effective and flexible solution for CCTV installations.
This balun features a standard BNC connector for direct connection to CCTV cameras or DVR inputs, and a screw terminal interface for secure connection to twisted pair cable. The screw terminal design allows easy field installation without soldering, ensuring reliable electrical contact and signal transmission.
The passive design requires no external power supply and supports analogue CCTV as well as high-definition HD-CVI, HD-TVI, and AHD video formats when used with compatible equipment. It is suitable for structured cabling installations where video signals need to be transmitted over long distances using UTP cable.
This balun is widely used in professional CCTV installations, enabling reliable video transmission in residential, commercial, and industrial surveillance systems.
