Features
The Hikvision DS-2CD2H83G0-IZS is a professional-grade 8MP motorized varifocal turret network camera designed for high-resolution surveillance in demanding environments. The camera uses a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS sensor capable of delivering ultra-high-definition video at 3840 × 2160 resolution, enabling accurate identification of people and vehicles across commercial, industrial, and perimeter security installations.
According to the lens specifications on page 2 of the datasheet, the motorized 2.8–12mm varifocal lens provides adjustable horizontal field of view from 105° at wide angle to 34.5° at telephoto, allowing precise coverage configuration without physically repositioning the camera. Infrared illumination provides night vision coverage up to 30 metres, ensuring continuous surveillance in complete darkness.
The camera supports 120 dB true Wide Dynamic Range, ensuring clear imaging in high contrast scenes such as entrances and areas with strong backlighting. Intelligent analytics include line crossing detection, intrusion detection, and face detection, improving monitoring accuracy and event relevance.
The camera supports advanced H.265+ compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. Built-in microSD storage up to 128GB enables local recording capability. The durable metal housing meets IP67 weatherproof and IK10 vandal-resistant standards, ensuring reliable outdoor operation in harsh environmental conditions.
Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by combining power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable.
