Features
The Hikvision DS-KD-E is a modular exit button unit designed for use with Hikvision KD series IP video intercom systems. It provides a dedicated mechanical push button to enable secure door release from the inside of protected premises. The module integrates seamlessly with other KD series components such as camera modules, card readers, and keypad modules.
The unit is designed to fit within Hikvision modular mounting frames, including both flush and surface mount housings, ensuring secure installation and consistent alignment with other intercom modules. Its durable mechanical construction ensures reliable performance under frequent daily operation in residential and commercial access control environments.
The DS-KD-E connects directly to the intercom system or access controller, allowing controlled door unlocking when pressed. It is suitable for use in apartment buildings, office entrances, gated properties, and controlled access areas where internal exit control is required.
This module is commonly used as part of a complete Hikvision modular intercom system to provide a fully integrated entry and exit access control solution.
