The XVR-3108AD 8-Channel Hybrid DVR is a digital video recorder designed for multi-format CCTV surveillance systems, supporting both analogue HD and IP cameras. The recorder supports up to 8MP (4K) camera resolution, allowing high-definition video recording for modern security installations.
This DVR operates as a hybrid XVR system, supporting multiple video formats including HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS analogue cameras and IP network cameras. This compatibility allows installers to integrate existing analogue cameras while upgrading to higher resolution systems without replacing the entire infrastructure.
The recorder supports H.265+ video compression, reducing storage requirements and improving recording efficiency compared to older compression formats. This helps extend recording time when using internal hard drives.
Video output is available through HDMI and VGA interfaces, allowing connection to monitors for live viewing and playback. The system also supports remote access through mobile applications and PC client software, enabling users to view cameras and recordings from remote locations.
The unit supports one SATA hard drive for video storage, allowing users to install surveillance-grade HDDs for continuous recording. The DVR is suitable for use in residential CCTV systems, small business security installations, shops, warehouses and office environments where reliable video monitoring is required.
