Features
The Hikvision DS-2AE4225T-A PTZ camera is a professional HD-TVI surveillance device designed for long-range monitoring and active scene control in commercial and perimeter security applications. It delivers Full HD 1080p video output over coaxial infrastructure, making it suitable for upgrades or new installations where analogue cabling is already deployed.
The integrated 25× optical zoom lens, with a focal range of 4.8mm to 120mm, enables precise identification of distant objects without loss of image detail. This makes the camera suitable for monitoring large areas such as car parks, industrial sites, warehouses, and public spaces where dynamic zoom capability is required.
The PTZ mechanism supports full remote positioning, allowing operators to pan, tilt, and zoom the camera via compatible Hikvision HD-TVI DVR systems. This enables flexible coverage and active monitoring of multiple zones from a single device.
True Day/Night functionality with an automatic IR cut filter ensures accurate colour reproduction in daylight and enhanced monochrome imaging in low-light conditions. Integrated Smart IR technology provides infrared illumination for night surveillance, maintaining image clarity while preventing overexposure of nearby subjects.
The camera integrates seamlessly with HD-TVI DVR platforms, supporting long-distance signal transmission over standard coaxial cable without requiring IP network infrastructure.
