The Hikvision DS-3E0318P-E/M(B) is a 16-port unmanaged PoE switch designed for CCTV and network infrastructure installations. It provides 16 Fast Ethernet PoE ports, allowing direct connection of IP cameras, wireless access points and other PoE-powered devices, together with one Gigabit RJ45 uplink port and one Gigabit SFP fiber port for network backbone connectivity.
The switch supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE standards, delivering up to 30 W per PoE port with a total PoE power budget of approximately 130 W, enabling stable power supply to multiple surveillance cameras or network devices from a single switch.
Designed for security installations, the device supports long-range PoE transmission up to 300 metres when extended transmission mode is enabled. This feature is particularly useful for large premises such as warehouses, perimeter monitoring installations and outdoor surveillance deployments where cameras are located far from the network cabinet.
The switch uses store-and-forward switching architecture with a switching capacity of approximately 7.2 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of about 5.356 Mpps, ensuring stable network performance for video surveillance traffic.
A durable metal fan-free enclosure allows quiet operation and reliable performance in network cabinets, CCTV control rooms, offices and industrial environments where continuous operation is required.
