Features
The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1(B)-Surface is a modular IP video intercom door station designed for residential and commercial access control systems. As part of the Hikvision KD8 Series Pro modular intercom range, the device serves as the main unit for door entry communication and can be combined with additional modules such as card readers or keypads.
The unit features a 2 megapixel fisheye camera equipped with infrared illumination, allowing clear visitor identification in both daytime and low-light conditions. The wide-angle lens helps provide broad coverage of the entrance area.
A physical call button allows visitors to initiate communication with indoor monitors or mobile applications connected to the intercom system. The device supports dual door lock control outputs, enabling integration with electric strikes or magnetic locks for secure entry control.
Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing both power and data transmission through a single network cable. The device also includes a direct 12V 500mA power output that can be used to power an electronic lock without the need for an additional power supply.
The DS-KD8003-IME1(B)-Surface is designed for surface mounting and features an IP65 protection rating, making it suitable for outdoor installations such as villa entrances, apartment buildings and office access points.
